We’ve been introduced to so many new things this year: a global pandemic, murder hornets, distance learning, asteroids, and an indescribable loathing for common core math. Welcome to 2020: We’re teaming up with Modibodi for a variety comedy hour with Don’t Call Me Mommy and friends where nothing is off limits. Period. Because if we’re not laughing...we’re crying.
From sleep deprivation to the worst thing your demon spawn has ever done, periods to pod schooling, get ready to laugh as we get real about everything that’s gone wrong this year. There will be standup. There will be improv. There will be sing-alongs and storytelling. And because some good has to come out of this year, all proceeds from this event will go to #HappyPeriod, to end the stigma and break the taboos surrounding menstruation.

At Modibodi, we are an adventurous team with a fearless take on making our “unmentionables” absolutely mentionable. Being in tune with our bodies is what makes us feel comfortable, confident and fiercely ourselves. No matter what their size, age, shape, gender, sexuality or story, we want to inspire all bodies around the world by opening up the conversations others are too afraid to have. And to live the life they truly deserve.
We believe that periods are precious, that sweat is therapy, and that feeling 100% protected during both is the stuff of dreams. We’re for stronger pelvic floors and leaky life-giving boobs. We’re down with our discharge, even prouder of our pregnancy shows, and you betcha – runaway bladders are welcome here too.
We’re breaking taboos, opening minds and offering a reusable, sustainable option that’s not just for women – but for the benefit of all bodies on this planet. Because we believe that making a positive impact should be as easy as changing your undies.
